Can't help but blog this down.
"Please do not flip over the question paper until you are told to do so"
"You have 2 hours and your time starts now"
"Pens down stop writing"
Where do you normally hear all these? The answer is in an examination hall.
Not a difficult guess I bet. I completed my polytechnic studies in 2004 and now is already end of 2009. Gosh! 5 years of my life had just gone! Time flies!
9th of December 2009, 1500hours, Expo Hall 1 was my first battle since downing my student armour once again. Before I start I want to thank Raymond for the lift there and the billard game which we had. I alighted from Raymond's car at about 1445 hours and started marching towards the exam hall. The first scene which caught my attention was seeing students doing last minute revision. Flipping their notes away and trying to memorise theories and formulae. It really reminds me of the days in polytechnic. Slack all the way in the whole semester but only start revising till 1 or 2 days before examination.
After a 2 minute walk, I am finally within 10 metres radius of the exam vicinity. The events which happened then was the inspiration behind my post now. Till this minute while I am typing this sentence, I simply cannot forget the feeling that I experienced along the alley way of the Expo Convention Centre. It was so good! The air seem to smell better, surroundings seem to look better and the world seem to look simpler. It is just nice to step into an examination hall once again! Perhaps it is the freshness of being a student once more and the second chance which I can re-write my academic results that explains why the sight of the examination hall gates managed to kick up such an emotion in me.
Though I did not feel I did very well for the paper, at least not to my expectation, I strongly believed today's experience will be a big motivation for my next paper and hopefully the remaining 12 modules which I will be taking as I continue embarking on my journey of a top academic performer!

SaGi_miC Life Updates
Hahaha!!! As usual, my blog fans once again complained, wanting me to provide more updates. OK lar, I promised to update more often k. Why dun u all give me some income for every entry I create? It will definitely motivate me to come up with a new workpiece each day. Hehehe :P
Ngee Ann Poly --> Went back to my "motherschool" for a 2day course. Rekindle lots of memories and also showed my colleague who is a SP student around the Ngee Ann Campus.
Birthday Celebration --> Celebrated one of my closest friend's birthday. Intended to have dinner with him at Crystal Jade Holland Village. End up he fell sick and couldn't make it. The remaining of us decided to proceed with the initial plan. After our dinner bought a cake to his place and celebrate with him at his place. Hope he is happy with our efforts.
Bachelor Degree --> My plans to get a degree encountered some problem. The university would not accept me due to my D7 english for 'O' levels. They made a waiver but I still cannot make it. Diplomas which are 3 years or younger will be exempted regardless of their english grades. Haiz my diploma was 3 years and 7 months old.
Additonal wager --> Stakes have increase for me to lose weight. Chilli crabs + $200 cash if I can lose 8kg in 2 months. Odds seem to favour my opposition. People out there beware, Sagi_mic is someone not to trifle with when he gets serious. Anymore bets coming in? Just msn or sms me. I will be delighted to accept them. My dearest mum, darling and sister, get ready to get a new pair of pants or wallet. Cos they will have a hole by then. Wahahahahaha!!!
Mayday Concert --> Asian top band group is coming to town for the 2nd time in 1 year. Those who missed it last time round, Please don't miss it again. Tickets may be expensive, but I guarantee you its definitely value for money. If you wanna watch and no kakis, jio me! You are most welcome to join my group :)
Thoughts to ponder --> When you just came to this world, before you learn how to take care of yourself, your parents does everything for you. Clearing your smelly pampers; teaching you how to pronounce simple words; guide you when you eventually start to learn to walk or even carrying school bags for you before and after your lessons. But when the day comes when she grows old and can no longer take care of herself anymore, what do you think you should do in return? Will you get fustrated when he/she walks very slowly while you are rushing for time? Will you blow your top when she can't answer your questions properly? Or even thought of sending them to an old folks home despite their unwillingness? Many of us, you and me all claimed to know many morals and lessons in life. In actual fact how often do we put them into practice?
Enough for today, save some for tomorrow. Shall sign off here. Buaiz~

Decide to skip part 2 since I can't think of much to write. Here comes part 3!!!
2008 promises to be a very meaningful year for my big family, and I believe it definitely will be. My dears, keep your words and promises k, chiong and piang together. Afterwhich we will share them at our already planned end of year chalet.
Jie fu, I dunno whether u got read my post. Anyway hereby hoped you can smoothly transit to your next career. Get out of your difficult position and start all over again. Still remember what you have been telling me? "2008 will be better". "2008 will be better". I wanna tell u, it would not be, instead it MUST BE !!!
Da Jie, help me ask jie fu to read k. As for u I wish u sell car sell many many. Earn money also many many. Work and strive together with jie fu, cos a beautiful and wonderful future awaits. Last christmas and new year count down we all quite "leong", so both events not very grand. This coming de we must make it as exaggerating as possible. On bo?
Next up Kheng, gor gor is so proud of u. Often wonder how to get 6 pts for O level. But u prove it to me. Thumbs up :) Another hurdle of your life is over, but the next one and next next one awaits. Dun be complacent, continue what you have been doing and your future confirm "qian tu wu liang"! JC is tough, but my Kheng is even more tough. Keep that in mind k?
Ali Baba your turn. Its almost 4 wks since your departure. This afternoon while clearing my mail happened to come across those which you sent me when you went for backpack last year. Can't help but compare, backpack only 5 wks but this trip is 5 mths. Haiz... Glad to hear you settling well there, must continue to update your blog k. For u I dun tink you need any motivation from me lah, cos more often than not I get mine from u. Jia you li li. (mai act cute hor, put as yr nick in tag box)
Last but not least my dearest SHulin. Finally going to graduate le, happy rite? Understand the amount of stress that you underwent for the past 3 years, xin ku le. At the end of it, its worth your effort. Think of the moment that you put on the si fang mao, full of satisfaction and sense of achievment. Results may not meet for expectations, but u had already did your best. No regrets k! School life will be over soon, hence enjoy the last few moments and make it a unforgettable one. Endure and persevere! Rem, no one can determine how far u can go? Only YOU can!

Part 1 of 3: The Hectic Week
Intended to post this entry last weekend but just lazy to think. Once again got some inspirations from my xiao mei's blog and hence decided to spend some time to joint it down.
Start off with the "hectic week". Last week was definitely a nightmare for me. Make a guess. What can u co-relate all those figures below to?
7 to 6 on Mon
7 to 4 on Tue
6 to 5 on Wed
6 to 12 on Thurs
4 to 4 on Fri.
They were my working hours last week. Crazy isn't it? I always feel that tiredness can be overcomed as long as you deem what you do is worthwhile. Simply saying mind over body! But it wasn't the case then. I don't mind being a "taxi-driver" sending and fetching people to and fro for jobs. But at least let me have the chance to gain new knowledge through PRACTICAL means when I'm finally relieved of my driving duties. How can they expect juniors to learn and be competent when they keep saying "Wo Lai Wo Lai". Depriving us the opportunity to practise by snatching (abit harsh to use but can't think of a better word for now) all the jobs away from us and then either completing them himself or tasking it to the senior guys.
Fast! Quick! Hurry! All these were what you want. Have you ever wonder how we feel? At least for me I felt totally useless throughout the whole week working with you! No achievements and no new skills acquired despite the long working hours spent. Nothing! Nothing! Nothing!
I further wondered. Should I leave that place and start a new career outside? Hmm...Perhaps I must really consider my options now. Meanwhile I can only slog slog and slog in there. 2 more years to endure. Lun!
Signing off le, continue part 2 tomorrow. Meaningful start? What am I referring to?

Bon Voyage my dear sis!!!
Wow! Its been donkey years since I drop a entry here. But yesterday's experience was one which I could not help but jot it down.
First of all let me ask? Have you ever wave goodbye to a family member, relative, friends or colleague at Changi Airport? Some yes some no i guess. For those who did, how is the feeling like? Take 5 minutes to recall if you can't remember. As for me, I believed what I went through last night will forever be etched in my memory. The sadness and loneliness I experienced at the departure hall were simply too hard to take and too much to bear. Looking at the time now, she is probably reaching her destination or maybe reached Sweden. Hope that everything is fine.
5mths can be a short or long time depending on how individuals look at it. In my perspective, leaving or waiting for someone dear to u is always painful disregard to the time frame. Of course we must be realistic with it. 1 day or 1 week this type don't come and tell me you cannot take it.
Currently 29th of June should be the most important date for me and Qingli lovers out there. This date is the day which she rejoins us and continue writing our chapters of life together.
Jia you my dearest mei mei !!! Kor Kor hereby wish you a fruitful, adventurous and meaningful trip ahead.

An eventful week
Hooray! The boring, expensive and tired morning shift is finally completed. Long working hours, struggling to wake up every morning resulting in taking a cab is a torture both mentally & financially. This week was a quite fuifilling week for me if not for yesterday's incident. It attempt to spoil my weekend, but I will not succumb this time round. Why should I suffer for people who are just not professional enough? Exposed to so much risks when we are already so careful, diligent and responsible in our area. I understand that nothing is fair in this world, but I still can't help by complaining, "Justice Justice, where are you?"
Fortunately there are many more things for me to rejoice for the past week. Managed to make a few new friends while performing fatigue duties on monday and tuesday. Hence it was not a bad deal afterall. Went for my LOA orientation as well. Though I did not fair very well, at least I can get the nightmare off my mind till the actual test comes. On top of all that, I personally stepped up a gear and seriously spent time doing my secondary appointment. Achieved quite a number of targets set and effort was not at all wasted.
Organised a gathering to meet up with my "long time no see" poly mates tonite. Everyone have been busy working hard for the goals they set in their life. Tonite is the day for us to share the joys and obstacles we encountered since we embark on our journey. Dear pals, must really enjoy ourselves k?
Tomorrow is my dad's birthday. Will be celebrating with him for a dim sum feast at Hong Xin. Yummy yummy! After which I will spend the rest of my day with my loving girlfriend. These roughly rounds up my short but meaningful weekend :)

Judgement Day
Omg, the nightmare has finally arrived. Had been brooding over it for a few wks & now its time to face it. Going for my LOA orientation this coming tuesday & I'm getting more nervous as the day draws closer. For those who do not know what is LOA, it is actually a license authorising service personnel to drive a MID vehicle. Probably I just lack the confidence. It has been so long since I drove a manual driven car. Did actually thought of giving up by checking with my colleague whether I could cancel the session. But decided to drop the idea for a number of reasons. Haiz...Anyway it is now too late for very change in decision. 2 days left. The only thing I can do at the moment is to pray hard, do my best & hope everything goes smoothly. Time to go bed le, a brand new week awaits.
